Peace of mind and perspective
why is it important to find peace within yourself and put things in perspective?
By nature, our adult minds are programmed to emphasize negativity more than positivity. We are probably all familiar with situations where we have received a number of positive compliments, but among these there was a negative comment.
It is the negative comment that sticks. It is the one that grows and demands all the attention. Wow, we've pushed every single positive word away.
But earlier in life, when our minds were young and unsullied, we did not react like this. Then in a moment we could be so present in anger, in tears, in joy and happiness, we shifted our attention quickly and uncomplicated. After crying, the smile and laughter were back in place within a tiny moment. As adults, we have trained a lifetime to focus on what is not good. And we dwell far too long on the negative.
Meditation and breathing exercises can help us reset our adult mind. You can find your way back to your original nature. And it is there, within your original self, that you find peace, you find dreams, ideas and visions. It is from here that we manifest our future and drag it into the present.
Does manifestation work? Is this something we should believe exists?
It's not about believing, it's about knowing.
When you know, you just know.
It's only when you "believe" that you don't know. If you are asked where you live, you don't say that you think you live where you do.
You say you live there, because you know that you do…. is that not true?
But how much choice do we have in life, can we manifest a dream or vision?
In life there are many choices, and we cannot escape everything that happens. It is a combination of both, some camels must inevitably be swallowed and then of course we have our freedom to choose.
It's basically about knowing what to pay attention to, choosing whether to react or think before deciding on something.
What you give attention to, you get more of.
You don't experience life, you experience the life you focus on. You can choose to focus on what is wrong, because there is always plenty wrong to find. Our focus creates our opinions and our feelings, which will produce our actions and the results we get in life.
Therefore, it is about the behavior pattern and what you tend to focus on.
Yes, so what are you focusing on? The good, or the bad?
If you want to do something or achieve anything, you must learn that all situations have something good in them and something bad in them.
You must learn to look for the good.
